Nectar production potential of Leptospermum

Qualifying the nectar flow, as impacted by biological determinants and environmental conditions is the aim of this project. The study will combine both controlled environment work and field experimentation to build an understanding of the critical factors both in plant traits and site conditions that determine plant nectar flow. Leptospermum will be used as the model genus.
A scholarship of a Stipend of $30,000 per annum for 3 years with an option to extend for 6 months is being offered together with a budget for supplies and travel. The Project has to be completed by June 30th 2022.
